The Woodstock Inn on the Millstream has been a fixture in this most famous small town for decades. In the 1940s, when travel was exotic and the Catskills were the ultimate sanctuary for tired, hot city folks, a motel was built on Tannery Brook Road. In the 60s, a pizza restaurant was operated between the motel and the stream. Families would spend Friday nights enjoying dinner, while the kids romped and played along the water’s edge. Rock and rollers crashed here while recording music that would define a generation, and international artists have found inspiration wading in our waters.
