Since the founding of the Byrdcliffe Arts Colony in 1902, numerous artists and craftspeople have gravitated to Woodstock, attracted by the beautiful Catskill Mountain landscape, the small town’s proximity to New York City, and a community that supports the arts. Now visitors are able to take a glimpse into the creative process by coming to the 5th Annual Woodstock Artists Studio Tour on Saturday & Sunday, September 29 & 30, 11 AM to 5 PM. Rain or Shine. To further promote the Studio Tour, we are also doing an Outdoor Art event at the Colony Cafe Saturday & Sunday July 14th & 15th where artists will be able to display and sell their work as well as encourage visitors to visit their studio in September.
